In the Press: "Mouth watering melodies and lyrics that punch you awake."

Kyote Radio is an Austin based garage rock band with roots in the West Texas ghost town of Terlingua, a remote desert outpost where singer/ songwriter, Micah Paredes, was born and raised before arriving in Austin in 2007. Paredes leads Kyote Radio on electric guitar and vocals, delivering sharp songwriting, anchored by a full dose of heavy riffs and a thundering rhythm section that features Nick Smith on bass and Wesley Riddle on drums.
Kyote Radio, named in honor of Terlingua’s now defunct pirate radio station and its late founder, Uh Clem, released their debut LP Real Crime, produced by Frenchie Smith, in August of 2021. Drawing on influences that range from heavy classic rock icons like Black Sabbath to indie rock titans like Modest Mouse, Kyote Radio blends different genres into high energy, All-American rock that sends listeners winding through forests of fuzz and canyons of reverb on the way up the mountain to rock and roll glory. "...could be Neil Young and Crazy Horse at their heaviest."
